Terry Toedtemeir, rest in peace

I am deeply saddened to have found out one of my colleagues at the Portland Art Museum , Terry Toedtemeier Curator of Photographer died last night. He was one of the all time sweetest men I've ever met. He was jovial, kind, intelligent, passionate about photography, and just an all around exceptional human being. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. His legacy exhibition features rare photographs from the Columbia River Gorge many of these photographs have never been displayed publicly.

Start Seeing Murals

MURALS TOWN HALL: DEC 16, 2008 - I am going to this meeting because I think its ridiculous we live in a city that is lauded for its art community and yet has such strict guidelines for creation of public works. Join a discussion to help create a permitting process exclusively for murals. This discussion will interest neighborhood leaders as well as artists. This new opportunity could transform Portland’s visual landscape. 5:30-7:00 PM, Council Chambers, Portland City Hall, 1221 SW 4th, Portland, Oregon 97204.
